Welcome to ACOKnowledge! ACOKnowledge is a subscription service that provides its members with access to educational content over the Internet, for computers and other devices (“compatible devices with ACOKnowledge”), connected to the Internet.

These Terms of Service govern your use of the ACOKnowledge service. As used in these Terms of Service, the terms “ACOKnowledge service”, “our service” or “the service” designate the service provided by ACOKnowledge, including all functions and functionalities, website and user interfaces, as well as all content and software associated with our service.

1. Membership.
   Your membership in ACOKnowledge will continue until canceled. In order to use the ACOKnowledge service, you must have Internet access and a device compatible with ACOKnowledge, as well as indicate a current, valid and accepted form of payment, which you can update periodically (“Payment Form”). For specific details of your membership to ACOKnowledge, visit our website and click on the link “Account”, available at the top of the pages of the ACOKnowledge website, below the profile name.

 

2. Subscription payment
       
   • 2.1. Billing Cycle. The membership fee for the service will be charged, using the Payment Method indicated, on the day corresponding to the beginning of the membership paid. In some cases, the start date may be changed, for example, if it was not possible to validate the indicated Payment Form, or if the beginning of paid membership occurred on a non-existent day in a given month. Visit the ACOKnowledge website and click the “Payment details” link on the “Account” page to check the next payment date.

        

   • 2.2. Payment Methods. You can change your Form of Payment by visiting the ACOKnowledge website and clicking on the “Account” link. If one of the payments is not settled successfully, due to reasons of validity, insufficient balance or otherwise, and does not change the Payment Method or cancel the account, ACOKnowledge may suspend your access to the service until you obtain a valid Payment Form. Authorizes ACOKnowledge to continue charging the service through the indicated Payment Method, which may be updated, remaining responsible for all amounts due and not collected. This may result in a change in payment dates. For certain Forms of Payment, the entity issuing the Form of Payment may charge you an international transaction fee or other costs. For more information, contact the service provider of the Payment Method.

        

   • 2.3. Cancellation. You can cancel your membership to ACOKnowledge at any time, and your access to the ACOKnowledge service is maintained until the end of the period you have hired. ACOKnowledge does not provide refunds or credits for partial membership periods. To cancel, go to the “Account” page and follow the cancellation instructions. If you cancel your membership, your account will automatically be disabled at the end of the current contract period. To check the account opt-out date, click “Invoice details” on the “Account” page. If you have registered with ACOKnowledge with an account of another entity as a Form of Payment and you wish to cancel membership to ACOKnowledge at any time, including during free use, you may have to do so with that entity, for example, by accessing its account with this entity and deactivating the automatic renewal or canceling the subscription to the ACOKnowledge service through this entity. You will also be able to obtain billing information about your membership in ACOKnowledge by accessing your account for this entity.

        

   • 2.4. Price Changes and Service Plans. ACOKnowledge may change the service plans and the price of the service periodically. However, changes to pricing or service plans will only be applied 30 days after receiving your email notification.

 

3. ACOKnowledge service
      
   • 3.1. It is necessary to be 18 years old or to be of legal age in your region, territory or country, to be a member of the ACOKnowledge service. Minors can only use the service under the supervision of an adult.

      

   • 3.2. The ACOKnowledge service and all content viewed through the service are exclusively for your personal and non-commercial use. During your membership period, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to access the ACOKnowledge service and view content. Except for such limited license, no right, title or ownership shall be transferred to you. You hereby agree not to use the service for display in public places.

      

   • 3.3. ACOKnowledge continuously updates the ACOKnowledge service, including the content library. In addition, we continuously review various aspects of the ACOKnowledge service, including the site, user interfaces, promotional features and content availability. You may cancel your participation in these tests at any time by visiting the “Account” page and changing the “Test Participation” settings.

      

   • 3.4. You agree to use the ACOKnowledge service, including all functions and features associated with it, in compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, or other restrictions regarding the use of the service or its content. You agree not to file, transfer, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works, make available for sale or use (except as expressly authorized in these Terms of Service) content and information contained or obtained from, or through of the ACOKnowledge service. You also agree not to modify, remove, alter, deactivate, degrade or counteract the content protections that exist in the ACOKnowledge service; use a robot, spider, scraper or any other automatic way of accessing the ACOKnowledge service; decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble any software or other products or processes accessible through the ACOKnowledge service; insert any code or product or manipulate the content of the ACOKnowledge service in any way; or use any method of extracting or collecting data. You further agree that you shall not upload, post, email or otherwise transmit or transmit any materials designed to disrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment associated with the ACOKnowledge service including any viruses software or any other computer code, files or programs. ACOKnowledge may terminate or restrict your use of the service in case of violation of these Terms of Service or involvement in illegal or fraudulent use of the service.

      

   • 3.5. The quality of viewing content may vary from computer to computer and from device to device and may be affected by a number of factors, such as its location, the available bandwidth, and/or the speed of your Internet connection.

      

   • 3.6. The ACOKnowledge software is developed by or for ACOKnowledge and is designed to allow streaming of content from ACOKnowledge to devices compatible with ACOKnowledge. This software can vary by device and support and the features can also vary between devices. You agree that your use of the Service may require third party software, subject to third party licenses. Accepts automatically receive updated versions of the software from ACOKnowledge, as well as related software from other suppliers. In case of sale, theft or misplacement of your compatible device, please disconnect the device. If you do not sign out or deactivate the device, the following users will be able to access the ACOKnowledge service through your account and may have access to certain information in your account. To disable a device, follow the instructions on the “Account” page.

 

4. Password and Account Access
       
   • 4.1. The member who created the ACOKnowledge account and whose Payment Mode is used to collect the service (the “Account Holder”) can access and control the ACOKnowledge account. To maintain account control and to prevent unauthorized access by third parties (which includes access to account viewing history information), the Account Holder must not disclose the password or details of the Payment Method (for example, the last four digits of the debit or credit card, or the email address if they use PayPal) associated with the third-party account. Updating and maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide to ACOKnowledge regarding your account is at your sole risk.

       

   • 4.2. You should be aware of any communication requesting the sending of information from your account or credit card. Providing personal information in response to such communications may result in identity theft. Access your sensitive account information always directly through the ACOKnowledge website and never through hyperlinks in emails or other electronic communications, even if they appear to be legitimate. ACOKnowledge may disable or suspend your account to protect you, ACOKnowledge or our partners from identity theft or other fraudulent practices.

 

5. Applications from other suppliers.
      You may find applications from third party vendors (including, but not limited to, websites, software, or other software utilities) (“Applications”) that interact with the ACOKnowledge service. Use of these Applications may be subject to the terms of service or license terms of other suppliers.

 

6. Unsolicited Materials.
      ACOKnowledge does not accept unsolicited materials or suggestions and is not responsible for any similarity of its contents or programs, in any format, with the suggestions or material transmitted to ACOKnowledge.

 

7. Customer Support.
      For more information about our service and its features, or if you need assistance with your account, visit the ACOKnowledge Help Center on our website (https://acoknowledge.org/contact). In certain circumstances, to provide better service, Customer Service may require remote access support tools to gain full access to the User’s computer. If the User does not wish to have access to this type of access, he/she must not authorize the support through the remote access tool and ACOKnowledge will provide assistance through other means. In the event of any conflict between these Terms of Service and the information provided by Customer Support or other sections of our site, these Terms of Service prevail.

 

8. Continuity.
      In the event that any provision or provisions of these Terms of Service are held to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions remain valid and in force.

 

9. Terms of Use Changes.
      ACOKnowledge may from time to time change these Terms of Service. ACOKnowledge will notify you at least 30 days in advance of the application of the new Terms of Service.

 

10. Electronic Communications.
       ACOKnowledge will send information about your account (for example, payment authorizations, receipts, password changes or Payment Method, confirmation messages, notices) only in electronic format, for example, e-mail address to the e-mail address of the indicated User during registration.
